In line with its commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, SSA Marine Mexico has installed 167 photovoltaic solar panels at the Multipurpose Terminal in Manzanillo. The system has an installed capacity of 116.9 kW, capable of generating approximately 206,600 kWh of clean energy per year. This project represents a decisive step in reducing the environmental impact of port operations. Key benefits include: • Lower CO2 emissions, equivalent to planting more than 1,500 trees. • Reduced fossil fuel consumption, with estimated savings of over 39,000 liters of gasoline. • Promotion of renewable energy use, aligned with responsible and sustainable practices. With this initiative, SSA Marine Mexico reaffirms its leadership in sustainable development, embracing innovative solutions that foster more efficient, responsible operations aligned with the intelligent use of resources.
