Facing all challenges SSA Mexico closes 2022 maintaining its leadership, offering its clients the most efficient and reliable service.

Through its 8 port terminals located in Cozumel, Lazaro Cardenas, Manzanillo, Progreso, Tuxpan and Veracruz, SSA Mexico is prepared to satisfy the demands of the market. In the port of Manzanillo, the Specialized Container Terminal maintained a solid operation, with an investment of more than 30 million dollars for the acquisition of 2 new Super Post Panamax cranes, 6 new E-RTG cranes, and new minor cargo equipment; also, maintenance works were carried out. All this in order to reinforce the productivity of the terminal. In line with its steady growth, on May 26 SSA Mexico acquired OCUPA HOLDINGS, company made up of a multipurpose port terminal with services for containerized cargo, general cargo and LCL; and FRIMAN, a facility focused mainly on handling refrigerated and LCL cargo, both located in the port of Manzanillo. By combining the strengths and abilities of both companies, we offer a better and more flexible service to all our customers, supporting the consolidation of the port as a strategic, reliable, transparent and safe reference to attract more investments. Once again setting record figures, the operation of automobiles at the specialized terminal of Lazaro Cardenas stands out, with an increase of 40% compared to the previous year, exceeding 600 thousand units handled. This facility, the only one of its kind in the country, welcomed Chirey, OEM that entered the Mexican market through our terminal. Constant work towards dynamic management to make maneuvers more efficient has resulted in unprecedented growth. For its part, in 2022 Veracruz handled more than 400,000 automobiles, this represents about 50% of the total operation of the port, considered one of the most important in this segment. Regarding general cargo, a growth close to 30% was registered compared to the previous year, while we continue to invest to develop new storage areas that allow us to improve operations and make them safer and more productive. The container segment at Tuxpan Port Terminal registered an annual growth of 9%, while asphalt, automobile and general cargo operations continue at the most modern terminal in the country. Regarding hydrocarbons, we received the Clearocean Meribel vessel with 30,000 barrels of Premium gasoline, marking the reactivation of the company's energy operations in the port of Tuxpan. The arrival of the Wonder of the Seas, recognized as the largest cruise ship in the world, marked the beginning of an important upward trend regarding cruise operations at the Cozumel and Progreso terminals, which registered growth of more than 300%, a sign of the worldwide recovery in the industry after the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of tourists enjoy these paradisiacal ports of the Mexican Caribbean, as well as our world-class facilities. Investments in technology, infrastructure and human resources, in addition to initiatives aimed at increasing the productivity of our operations, are characteristics that have accompanied us through the years and thanks to which, today we can reaffirm our position as the leading national port operator.
