Cozumel Opens its Doors to the New Giant of the Seas!

Belonging to Royal Caribbean's prestigious Icon Class, the stunning Star of the Seas arrived at our Cozumel International Cruise Terminal on September 5, on its maiden voyage to Mexico. Along with the Legend of the Seas and the Icon of the Seas, it is one of a series of cruise ships considered as the largest in the world, characterized by their innovative design and family-friendly areas. With over 7,600 passengers and crew on board, this new giant of the seas also stands out as the shipping company's third LNG-powered ship, making it a cleaner and more sustainable option. A commemorative plaque exchange ceremony was held to celebrate this milestone, attended by SSA Marine Mexico representatives, executives and Mexican government and port of Cozumel authorities.
