SSA Marine Mexico Welcomes Utopia of the Seas

Yesterday, May 7, 2025, the Utopia of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, docked for the first time at the SSA Marine Mexico cruise terminal in Cozumel. This Oasis Plus class vessel is one of the world's largest, boasts 236,473 tons and a length of 362.12 meters. This impressive vessel is a floating city with themed areas, water parks, theaters, restaurants, and with a capacity for over 7,000 passengers. The ship arrived from Port Canaveral, Florida at 06:00 hours and departed at 16:45 hours on route back to the same port. This voyage, dubbed "The World’s Biggest Weekend Utopia of the Seas" by the cruise line, carried 6,607 passengers and 2,335 crew members. With this arrival Cozumel reaffirms its place as one of the favorite destinations of the Caribbean for world-class cruises .
