Empowering Manzanillo Through Reading

On April 11, we participated in the inauguration of the first library at the “Año de Juarez” Elementary School in Manzanillo by donating children's and academic books. The library, named Gabriel Anguiano, honors Professor Gabriel Anguiano, who dedicated 40 years to teaching at the school, and aims to promote reading and research among students. The school organized the “1 km of books” challenge, in which the school community collaborated to reach that distance with donated books. Additionally, a tribute was paid to Mexican writer Francisco Hinojosa, encouraging creativity among the children. At SSA Marine Mexico, we remain committed to supporting the education of children in our community.
